Fifty Shades official leads!

Ahhh say it isnt so!!

Just read that Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson have officially been announced as the lead roles in the Fifty Shades of Grey film(s)

Personally I do not see it at all! She just doesnt look the part and he is NOT Christian to me. Tarzan? Maybe. Christian Grey? HELL NO.

Ill have to go watch Matt Bomer shake it in Magic Mike and pretend this news isnt true!!

How about you guys? I know a lot of people like him so im curious to see what everyone thinks! :)

Just sayin ;)

  1. Haha, I know, I posted the correct ones! And as I said, I like them both, and he totally works for me. I have always been a sucker for blond and longish hair though. :D Happy Julia, lol.

  5. I just don't see how they are gonna make it a movie without taking out so much of the book.

    1. Good point. Who knows .. unfortunately it's pretty rare for a movie to live up to the book, but fingers crossed!

  6. I'm not so sure about either one. It's really going to depend on their chemistry.

  7. Hmm, I quite like her for the role but not sure about him. As HS said, I guess it depends how they 'groom' him. Not holding out much hope for the movie as I'm sure most of the 'spice' will be missing which, of course, is kind of a big part of the story.

  8. To me Charlie Hunman will be the boyish gay in Queer as Folk (is first major role on TV). He is certainly no stranger to sexy scenes as this program raised many eyebrows. He needs to be smartened up for me and hair darker.
    Have to wait and see.

  11. I am not sure either one of them fits the roles of Christian and Ana. The book was mostly read by females, I imagine the movie will have many more males as viewers. I wonder how this will movie will impact the world of D/s.

    1. I think you're right Joey, there will be a lot of male viewers for this movie! Good point.

  12. I think I'm up for the Leila idea ;)
The choice for Anna doesn't really move me one way or the other, I think several women could have matched the physical description--her acting, however, I am not familiar with, and that's what will matter.
Charlie...just...no. He looks like Thor. Or...I don't know, some big beefy bully.
I want Matt Bomer...but then I also heard he is "very" gay (not sure if you can be a "little" or "very" - seems like an "is" or "is not" to me LOL). So maybe he just didn't have the right chemistry for it? :(
Oh well, in my dreams he can remain ;)

  13. I'm not familiar with either of the actors who got the leads. Guess we'll see soon enough how it turns out!

  14. Oh, I did not care for the choice of Christian either! Hubby watches a show with him in it and I just can't picture him in that role... EVER... :P
