Submissive Saturdays

I thought it would be a cute idea to do some kind of post, where once a week, on a certain day, I can write about something, or post some pictures - just something related to TTWD/DD. I was asking Colin for advice, and I told him I liked the blog title "Submissive Saturdays," but wasn't really sure what to write about.

We did some brainstorming and came up with a few ideas. First thing is, for the Submissive Saturday blog posts, we're going to both find some pictures that have to do with Submission, Dominance, DD, spanking, discipline, etc - and we'll post them. I really like the idea, because not only do I think it's a fun type of post, but it's also so interesting to see which pictures each other chooses. It's almost like one more way to find out what calls out to each of us, on a DD/TTWD level.

Another thing we came up with, and I have to give most of the credit here to Colin, (which by the way, made me super happy that he came up with this,) is for US to do a Submissive Saturday. Basically, for the next couple of months or so, we're going to try and set a topic for that Saturday, and work on it.

He said one Saturday, it could be about me being submissive in the bedroom, another Saturday could be about me being submissive with punishments, and another Saturday it could be about me being submissive with everyday things; caling him Sir, cleaning up, chores, cooking for him, doing things for him more than usual, etc. That way, it's making me focus on my submission, and at the same time, making him focus on his Dominance. He said it could involve spankings, kneeling, using the collar, corner time, essays, etc. Then, on Sundays, we're going to put away some time to talk, and just go over the previous week.

We had been doing maintenance every Sunday, but he decided that from now on, maintenance will be on an as needed basis, and Sundays can now be our time to talk about things, and what each other needs to work on, but also what we think each other did well, and things like that. He even came up with a name for it, "Reflection Sundays."

I can't even begin to explain how happy I was for him to come up with all of this stuff. I had a huuuuuge smile on my face, and honestly - I feel even more submissive already! The whole "inner goddess" mumbo jumbo annoyed the hell out of me in Fifty Shades, but I do feel like my "Inner submissive" is pretty damn happy right about now. Happy, content, anxious, excited. I love it. :)

So anyway, here's the first "Submissive Saturdays" blog post. The pictures I picked out will be first, and Colin's will be second.
