My deepest, darkest secrets. ;)

Okay, so I won't really be shaing my deepest darkest secrets in this blog post, but since March is question month - it all depends on what you guys ask! :)

I'm so glad I started a blog, and have gotten to know so many great people through blogging, chat rooms, forums, etc. Blogland has been such a great outlet for me, and such a great place for both Colin and I to get advice, make friends, and just feel like we're not crazy for TTWD. It seems like I've been blogging for forever, but I actually just checked and my first blog post was March 20th last year! So it seems pretty fitting that March is question month. :)

I was also relieved to log on and see posts about March being question month, because I wasn't sure I could come up with something all that great to write about right now. Colin and I are doing great. He's stepped up a lot lately with DD, and the submissive feeling is starting to come back to me a bit. I'm been a little down and blah lately though. I previously write about my dog being sick, and how I didn't think he'd be around for too much longer. Well, he got a little bit better, seemed so happy and content lately, but the other day he passed away. It was in the best way possible, and I don't think he suffered at all. He truly was such a special dog. He was my Christmas present when I was 12 years old, and I couldn't have asked for a better present, or a better dog. Some people will think I'm crazy for saying this, but I'm one of those people who honestly believe animals become 100 percent part of the family. It's like losing a family member, and it's not an easy thing to go through. Colin's been great about it - giving me some leniency, but also knowing when to pull in the reins. I'll miss him tons, but I'm so thankful to have had so many great years with him. :)

So back to the questions. I think it'll be a great thing to get my mind in a different direction, so please .. feel free to ask anything you want!

 It can be:

random, personal, deep, silly, a question for me, a question for Colin, or a question for the both of us.

No need to hold back. We're both open to answering pretty much anything ..

sooo ask away! :)

Oh, and if you don't feel like posting a comment - feel free to email me with any questions, at

  1. First, I'm so so sorry to hear about your dog. They are family. Mine passed away February 15th and it was very unexpected. *hugs* As far as questions, hubby and I are in our first year and moving slowly. Advice for me? For him? Has anything in your marriage been more challenging since implementing DD? Do you have a code word or look for when you're in public (assuming non DD company)? Oh...and on another note I just linked to your survey in my last blog post. It took me this long to fill it!

  2. Hi Kenzie, I'm so sorry about your dog. I know how hard it is, my childhood dog passed away on my 21st birthday. They become so much part of our family, they show us so much love, companionship, silliness and sometimes they are very mechivious!

Hmmm, so many questions to choose from......what was your most embarrassing moment?

  3. Have you guys ever considered contributing to or a similar site? I know thats an intimate question and I apologize. You did say anything though :P

  4. Oh Kenzie I am so very sorry about your dog. We do love them ( even if my bipolar b*tch drives me crazy at times) just like members of the family.
Hmmm? My question. Aside from entertaining us with Seussian poetry, what is your favourite hobby? And more personal, where would you like to see yourself in 3 years from now?

  5. Hi kenzie
I am so sorry about your little dog. Your rt they indeed become family. Im glad that collin is being there for u in every way u need him to be whether by giving u leniency or reining you in. Ok for the u have any rules that u just find dumb and hard to follow or obey? Also has he spanked u for something that wasnt your fault? How did u deal w it?

  6. So sorry to hear that you lost your dog, Kenzie. :( It is a hard thing to go through. I agree- they are very much part of the family.

You've got some great questions here. Hmm.. What is one of the most important things that you have learned about yourself to date, since incorporating this lifestyle? Many hugs,

    <3 Katie

  7. I am very sorry about your dog. I am glad that you and Colin are doing well with DD.

How many times a week are you spanked?

  8. Also, what is on your kink to do list.

  9. I so understand about your doggies. They are indeed family and leave a great big empty spot in your heart. So very sorry. One question, have you ever seen the poem The Rainbow Bridge. If not, i'll be happy to send it to you.

  10. Oh no, your dog is most definitely a member of the family :( I'm so sorry.

I just came across your blog--it seems you found mine. I am curious about you and Colin, though I could probably find the answers to these questions if I rooted through your blog some more.

Did you ask Colin to do DD for you or was it something you arrived at together?

Is Colin a spanko or naturally dominant or was this something he had to learn to be for you?

  11. Sorry about your dog :(

    My question is for Colin
How did you handle things in the beginning in relation to how you deal with things now? And what is one thing you could share with couples going into this lifestyle that you leaned worked or didn't work in the beginning ? ~ s

  12. First: I am so sorry. Our dogs have always been part of our family. That is such a hugs loss. Huge hugs to you!!!

    Hmmmmm questions:
    1. What is something that is different between the fantasy perfect TTWD in your head and the real-life TTWD that you experience every day?

    2. What's your favorite and least favorite implement/toy?

    3. What do you admire most about Colin and what bugs you most?

    For Colin... Same ... Please!!!

  13. I've always thought that dogs end up becoming part of the family for people with some humanity in them, I mean, it's impossible not to realize how intelligent and almost human-like they are when they're around you every day. I'm so sorry to hear he passed away :(

So, my question is for both of you :) Do you think that is possible to do DD with no spanking at all? For personal, medical reasons, spanking will not be an option for me for some years :( What would be some alternatives that you consider effective? Any advice?

  14. So sorry about your dog :(

    1. If you could tell a new to dd wife one piece of advice what would it be?
    2. What would Colin tell a new HoH?

  15. Hey deepest sympathy on losing your baby. I have had pets most of my life and they always become members of the family and it hurts when you lose them.

I don't have any questions for you but will enjoy reading your answers to questions from the other readers.

Sending lots of healing energy and positive thoughts.

  16. Kenzie, I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog. They truly become family. Mine is like my 3rd child.

    My questions are:
Did Colin ever have a hard time at the beginning spanking you for discipline? We are just starting out and hubby is having a hard time with that.
Also, what have you found to be the hardest aspect of submission for you?

Thanks for your answers! And side note: I love reading your blog!!

  17. I do believe that pets are family. I am so sorry for your loss.
As for questions, I am happy to learn anything you share so I will look forward to coming back and reading the answers to others' questions... :-) Hugs

  18. I am with you on the pets being family. {{{hugs}}} I am so sorry you had to say goodbye.

Hmmm, question... What implement would you keep if you were told you could only keep one? What would Colin choose?

    {{{hugs}}} EsMay

  19. So sorry about your dog! Our dogs passed away a day apart and I think you are so right when you said they are up there playing together in heaven :) My question is the one I ask you all the time!! When are you coming back for a visit or better yet when are you moving here?! lol. Miss you guys!!
