Happy LOL Day!!!! :)

Yay, I was so worried I had missed LOL Day. So happy to still be able to make a post for it.

In case you don't know what LOL day is, it's a day about our lurkers! The ones who hide behind the shadows and read, but don't know if they should speak up or not. The ones who might have gone to make a comment before, but decided not to post it. Anyone with questions, or who just wants to de-lurk and start being "active" in this amazing community. The Dom With The Palm.

Sooo I'm kinda sorta supposed to be doing some chores right now, but I'm kinda sorta bored of the chores and wanted to write something fun.

Colin texted me this morning and told me to check our app to see what he added for today. I answered with, "Yes, Sir." He then said:

"Good girl. Let's start this week off right and you will be rewarded, but the minute you act up or not do something I tell you to do, you will be punished. Do you understand me?"

Geez. Mr. HOH is back! I checked the list and decided I'd get most of it done later on in the day. I went to the store, got stuff for dinner, because I'm now obsessed with our crockpot! I love having dinner ready for him when he gets home, it makes me so happy to do that for him. So anyway,  I did that and then decided to watch a bit of tv. I got pretty into my show and ended up watching a few more episodes than I should have.

My phone went off and I saw a text from Colin.

"I don't see anything checked off the list. You don't want to disappoint me baby."

I quickly got up, checked the list, and was able to do a few things and cross them off. It was too late in the day to do two of them, and there are two others I haven't done yet. I just realllllyyy don't feel like vacuuming or doing laundry right now. I mean he never reallllyy told me I had to get them all done, so I'm hoping what I did do will suffice? Wishful thinking, I know. Having said that, I really should be vacuuming, but blogging just sounds like so much more fun right now!

Soooo - I haven't done any Dr. Seuss lately and I figured now is as good of a time as ever. So, rather than "The Cat in the Hat," here is:

The Dom With The Palm!

The sun did not shine,
I had no time to play,
I had chores to get done,

The tv was calling,
I sat down for a few.

This story ended up being wayyyy longer than I thought it was, so I left out some parts in the middle to make it a bit shorter.

My Dom with the TWITCHY palm is on his way home now, and I just told him that most of the chores were done, but not all of them.

After hearing a mini lecture from him, and receiving a text that says, "I don't want any hesitation. When I say get over my knee, DO IT,"I'm wondering if this poem will resemble real life at all when he gets home tonight .. eeek.

I sweetly replied to that text with a, "Yes Sir." This followed:

"I'll see you when I get home."
"I love you lots and lots and lots!"
"That's not going to help that bottom of yours."

It's the Most Spankable Time of the Year!

Ahhh I finally have time to myself, yay! Although, It's not that much time so hopefully I can get this blog post done today. My best friend from out of state has been staying with us for the past few days, not to mention Colin has worked literally almost 100 hours this week, and I've been going crazy doing last minute Christmas Shopping. Needless to say, I haven't been able to get on my blog at all!

I'm sorry I'm not up to date on reading posts/commenting, but I'm going to get to it asap I promise!

Anyway, we haven't been able to do the Spanko Advent Calendar stuff in a long time, and I know todays is that we're supposed to come up with a spanko holiday jingle together, so I asked Colin if he could help me out with one, and here it is!

Spanko Claus is Coming to Town & Other Spanko Jingles!

The holiday season is upon us, and even though Thanksgiving isn't even over yet, I am might possibly, be one of those people who start listening to Christmas songs, wayyy earlier than I should. I want to get a tree, start decorating, and blasting that Christmas music. Since Colin would probably consider it a spankable offense if I started blasting Christmas music through the house already, I figured I'll share some spanko jingles with you guys! Hope you enjoy.

*Oh and a quick update first. Colin has been working crazy work hours, but depending on when he gets home tonight, the LOL day spanking will probably happen tonight. If not, It'll happen whatever night this week he gets home before 10 pm. I'm hoping it happens tonight, because it's time to get it over with. ;) I also found out I won a prize over at http://katherinedeane.wordpress.com/ for a 5 Dollar Blushing Books certificate. *One more update since I'm in a Christmasy/Holiday kinda mood today - Remember the Spanko Camp 2013 post I made this past summer? Well, I loved writing that Calendar, so I figured I'd make an Advent Calendar, similar to that one! I've been coming up with ideas for it for about a month now, and finally finished it last night! The only difference with this one, is the activities are designed to actually be done by you guys! The Camp was more of a silly little fantasy camp, but the Spanko Advent Calendar is 25 days of Spanko/DD/Ds activities. You can follow along every day, or just do a few days, it's totally up to you! Colin and I are going to try and do each day, but I'm sure real life will get in the way from time to time. Anyway, I'll be putting it up the last day of this month, but just wanted to give you guys a heads up!*

I was a lurker for a while before deciding to make a blog myself. I read tons of blogs, and always wanted to comment, but never really knew what to say. I didn't think I could contribute much, because I was so new, but I was wrong to think that! I'm so happy I now have a blog, and if any of you lurkers out there are thinking about starting one up, I hope you decide to try it out. It's a great place, with great like-minded people. I've been lucky enough to meet a blog friend in real life, who became a great friend, and I'm also lucky enough to be meeting some more blog friends this weekend! Seriously, you really can find some pretty cool friendships here.

Colin and I also wanted to let you lurkers (and of course regular readers) know, that we'll answer any questions you have for us! Anything you want to know about us/TTWD from either the subs point of view, or the Doms point of view! Ask away. :)

Andddd, just because I think incentives are pretty cool, I'm going to give you even more of a reason to comment! I had some ideas for LOL Day incentives, so I told Colin about them. He liked my ideas, but actually came up with an idea of his own, which I think, makes it even better. :)

We have this jar, called the Naughty Jar, from CANE-IAC. It's a little jar with a bunch of rolled up papers in there. All the papers have some sort of spanking instructions. Most include the implement, the position, and some other non spanking things are mixed in there too.

We haven't used the jar that much, but that's about to change.

If I get 1-10 comments on this post, I'll have to pick one piece of paper from the jar.

If I get 11-20 comments on this post, I'll have to pick two pieces of paper from the jar.

21-30 comments, and I'll have to pick three pieces of paper from the jar.

I think you get the gist of it. ;) One more thing, if I get 20 or more comments, Colin says he'll take a picture after the spanking, and I'll add it to the blog when I post about it.

Since we have a little vacation time this weekend, we'll tally up the comments Friday or Saturday, and the spanking/whatever else the card says, will take place then.

As much as I'd love to hear from you lurkers out there, I also love hearing from you non lurkers too, so we'll count your comments just like we could count the comments from a lurker. It's really helped with my adventure into DD/Ds, and it's an awesome way of meeting/talking with, some very friendly, like-minded people!

Colins Responses & Eeek, RA session!

I had fun writing my last post about 10 things all Doms & HOH's should know, so I thought it might be fun to hear from the other side.

Colin had a few things to say about what I wrote, so I thought I'd ask him to help me out, so we could share his responses with you. He tends to be pretty sarcastic at times, and I got a good laugh out of some of his responses - hopefully you will too. :) Thankfully he agreed to help me out, Yayyy! Cue the happy dance.

What makes this even more amazing, is that Colin totally does the dance Joey is doing,  facial expression and all.

So, here are Colins responses to my last post. If you didn't read the previous post, it might not make sense, so go check it out if ya haven't seen it. :)

1. You're right, corners do seem boring. Use the time wisely, and think about how to avoid them in the future.
2. You might use wooden spoons for cooking, but i'd rather use it to redden your bottom.
3. Sarcastic comments like that are what you earned you soap in the first place. Keep it up and you'll have it in your mouth while youre standing in that 'boring' corner.
4. Google might have most of the answers, but google isn't the one who's being a smart mouth, so unless you want to make the essay longer, stop being a little brat.
5. I think YOU need to get your hearing checked. How many times did I tell you to do something you didn't do? That's what I thought.
6. Ok, you're right. This IS going to hurt you more than it's going to hurt me. I was just trying to be nice.
7. My pants stay up just fine, young lady. If you'd like to complain about the belt, we can move to the strap. You love that one don't you?
8. I remember just fine what I said was going to happen if you acted up again. Why don't you write me one of those essays about it? Or better yet, come on over my knee and we'll have a nice little discussion, where you can remind me what I said would happen.
9. Next time, not only will you answer with a yes Sir, you'll be ASKING me for the spanking.
10. Time for you to get those implements, line them up, and i'll show you what they're really meant for.

Like I said, he can be a bit sarcastic at times. On the other hand, I don't think I'd ever actually say my sarcastic comments directly to him. Okay, who am I kidding? I would, and I probably will sometime soon. ;)

We *Still* haven't gotten in a good RA Session/OTK Discussion because of crazy work schedules and all that, but tonight he said one will be taking place. I recently asked him if we could review our rules and change them up a bit if need be. I haven't been held accountable for most of the rules lately, and I just really need that feeling of .. being held accountable. 

Of course he agreed, so I have a feeling that will come up tonight during RA.

I'm also thinking he'll be trying out some of the new implements. Eeek. Pray for my butt please?

LOL Day is coming up, and I'm hoping to hear from some of you lurkers out there, so start building up the courage to say hi. :) Hopefully when LOL Day comes, I'll hear from some of you! We'll be having some sort of incentive for people to comment, just not quite sure what yet!

Ten things all Doms/HOHs must know!

Before I get to explaining the title of this blog post, let me start by saying; Colin and I are back to being on track! It took a while, and i'm sure we'll still hit rough patches, because we are both still busy, but it feels good to be back at it. Although, I don't thing my butt would agree with me!

I got a serious spanking the other night. Probably the worst one yet, but after it was over, I felt amazing. Again, my butt would NOT agree with me. I just really needed to see that he wasn't always going to go easy on me, and that he was still going to hold me accountable with our rules, even though we've been crazy busy. I certainly saw that the other day. We were laying in bed after, about to fall asleep, and he said, "I love how spankings bring us so much closer." Such a simple thing for him to say, but it made me really happy to hear that he felt that way. I can now officially say that it IS possible to turn a pretty vanilla guy, into a Dominant spanko! Yay!

I do have another punishment spanking coming pretty soon though. Blegh! You know the game candy crush for phones? Yea well, I have a slight addiction to that game, and it's landed me in trouble. If you don't know what it is, it's a free game for smart phones, but you can purchase extras within the app, to help beat levels. Welllll, let's just say I overspend a bit on those extras. He's told me over and over again that I need to ask permission first, but I always get caught up in the game and forget to ask. So i'll be feeling some of the new (FIVE new, to be exact) implements we just got from Cane-Iac. Expect a blog entry about that soon!

In the meantime, I thought it was necessary to put together a little list for all the Doms and HOHs out there. This one is important, so listen up. ;)

*Disclaimer. This is not serious. If you've read this blog before, you probably know i'm sarcastic and like to have fun. That's all this is. No disrespect is intended.* 

Ten Things Every Dom & HOH MUST Know.

1. Corners are boring. We don't need to stand there. Same goes for walls.. they're meant to keep buildings up, not to put noses in! 
2. Wooden spoons are for COOKING. Whoever came up with the idea for a wooden spoon, did not mean for it to be applied to someones bottom. Do something useful with it, make soup or something. :)
3. Soap is for WASHING! Use it in the shower, or to wash your hands. All other uses are nonsense. It's not meant for anyones mouth. Next time we hear, "How's that taste?" We're going to hand it to you so you can see for yourself!
4. I'm not in english class. I do not need to write an essay. If you really need to read an essay on why respect is important, or why we need to be submissive, go do a quick google search. I'm sure you'll find something there.
5. You REALLY need to get your hearing checked. I think I can speak for all of us subs out there, when I say we've heard that question, "What'd you just say?" Do we really need to continue to repeat ourselves? You should really be better listeners.
6. Enough with the, "This is going to hurt me, more than it's going to hurt you." Who is being spanked here? Pretty sure an implement is not coming down on your butt now, is it?
7. Belts are for keeping your pants up, not to be used when my pants are down!
8. Not only is listening an issue, but so is memory. How many times are you going to ask us, "What'd I say would happen if you broke this rule again?" If you can't remember, don't expect us to remind you!
9. While we're at it, stop asking stupid questions! "Does someone need a spanking?" Do you really expect us to answer that with a, "Yes, Sir..I do!."
10. We covered the spoon, and the belt, but did you know that a hairbrush is for brushing hair? Paddles are for rowing boats. Let's not forget bath brushes are meant to stay in the shower! None of these things are meant to spank. Let's let them do what they're made for, please?

Spanking advice a-z!

I remember coming across a few blogs a while ago, when a meme was going around about the ABC's of spanking. People would list things, A-Z, having to do with spanking. Fun idea!

Well I decided to change that idea around, just a little bit, and thought i'd try to write my own A-Z list. So here is my Spanking advice A-Z. Of course i'll also include some more general DD stuff, but spanking advice just sounded better. ;) I'm seriously in noooo way an expert on spanking, DD, Ds, etc, so this isn't meant as a serious thing. Just something I thought I could have a little fun with!

*Now, this part is really important for you HOH's out there - pay close attention to this advice, it could really help you out. ;) After all, this advice is mainly for you!

PS - Totally kidding, and not trying to be disrespectful here, just in a fun playful mood. 

A- "Are you realllllly going to spank me?" That question CAN sometimes be answered with, "Nope, I was just kidding."
B- "Butttttt I don't want to be spanked," should be taken into consideration at all times.
C- Can you spank a little softer? Appropriate answer being, "Sure sweetheart!"
D- Do we need to use the hairbrush? "We can skip it this time."
E- Eventually you guys will get the knack for spanking, don't worry!
F- Frankly, if we get in trouble, love taps are accepted!
G- Geeez guys, this corner looks dirty, come clean it .. please?
H- Hand as an implement is usually the best route to take!
I- I could get over your knee without hesitation, but do I really want to?
J- Just nice and slowly, put that belt back on where it belongs!
K- Kitchen utensils, need to STAY in the kitchen!
L- Let us get away with some stuff from time to time!
M- Maybe let us have a bonfire once in a while? All implements welcome!
N- Noooo! You may certainly not spank me with that!
O- Outside to pick a switch? Not the best idea.

Q- Quietness is important, that brush makes toooo much noise!
R- Right or wrong? Right, we are alwayssss right.
S- Smart mouth answers. You don't like those? Be best if you learned to embrace them.

U- Underwear are to stay up at all times!
V- Very hard spankings are not permitted!
W- While we're at it, corner time is no longer allowed.
X- XOXO - Hugs and kisses are wayyy better than punishments!

Z- Zero of these rules are allowed to be changed, or altered in any way, shape, or form!

Spanko Rap - Old school!

Yayyy, I finally have time to blog again! Work has been crazy busy, and i've really missed blogland! Thankfully it's starting to calm down, and we have a nice long holiday weekend ahead of us. :)

Anyway, i'm going to write a little update on us soon, but in the mean time, I thought i'd try another spanko parody kinda post. I've had this song stuck in my head for days now, so I decided to make a new spanko version.

Do you remember the show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air? I grew up watching it, so it takes me back to some fun memories. If you don't know the show, or the oh so amazing theme song, take a listen below.

This isn't one of the best i've done, that's for sure, but it was hard, so cut me some slack. ;)

Mad Libs - Spanko Style!

I'm going to take a wild guess here, and assume that most of you have done mad libs before. If not, you're missing out! I used to do them all the time with friends when I was younger, and they were just so much fun. I came across some old mad libs the other day, and of course my spanko lightbulb went off!

What's even better than mad libs? Mad libs, spanko style!

So I figured why not try and create one, and hope that you guys will play along! Play with a friend, your husband, your wife, your spankee, your spanker, etc - and then if you feel like it, post it on your blog, because i'd love to read it! :)

Oh and remember, whoever is filling in the blanks, shouldn't be able to see/read the story beforehand, or else it won't be as fun. :)

Prelude to a spanking.

What in the world was I thinking? Was I even thinking at all? How could I have possibly thought I was going to get away with this? If only I had listened to (name of HOH/Dom,) when he warned me to behave. Why couldn't I have listened, just this once? I had a few simple rules I had to follow, and not only did I break one, I broke (Number!) We even went over the rules the other day. I can hear his voice in my head right now. He was standing over me, looking me in the (Body Part,) telling me he wanted to make sure I understood what was expected of me.

1.) No cursing allowed. Especially not the dreaded swear word, (Craziest word you can think of!) If that word even came close to coming out of my mouth. He'd make sure to wash it out with (Food item.)

2.) If I was going to be home late, let him know. He wanted to know I was safe, and not lost, wandering around in (Place in the world.)

3.) Have dinner on the table when he comes home from work. It's a long day when you do what he does. I can't imagine being a (Crazy job.) So if he wants a hot plate of (Food Item,) and (Food item,) waiting for him when he gets home, why not make it for him.

4.) Corner time will always be done as follows: Hands on (body part) facing the corner. Don't speak unless spoken to, and only answer respectfully, making sure to say (Funny pet name to show affection) after each yes or no answer.

That's it! It really shouldn't be that hard to follow those rules! So here I am, waiting for him in the corner. Oh (Crazy made up swear word/exclamation) I hear his footsteps. Here we go!

Well, well, what do we have here? Looks like my naughty little (Tih/Subs name) with her (Body part) pressed into the corner, waiting for her punishment. Maybe if you hadn't been so (Adjective,) you wouldn't be waiting to go over my (Body part) to receive your spanking. Out of the corner, come over to me, and let's see what two implements you picked out. Ahh, perfect choices, the (Noun,) and the (Spanking implement.)

These two always seem to do the trick nicely. They change your attitude pretty quickly, don't they? You go from being a little brat, to being a sweet little (Noun.) Now, let's get started. I've had it with your attitude. You've been so (Adjective) lately, so let's see if we can put a stop to that.

I just wrote a post yesterday saying how I really haven't written anything in a while, and now here's two posts, two days in a row! I was in the mood to write one of my spanko rhymes, which then turned into two spanko rhymes, so here ya go. :) Nothing big, but hope you enjoy them!

In a.. lull. & A meme!

I feel like I haven't made a post in forever! We missed submissive Saturday this week. :( Both the post, and the actual day! Things have been SO crazy busy around here lately, we just haven't had the opportunity. 

We'll be out of town yet again this weekend, and the weekend after that my best friend, who lives out of state, is coming to stay with us for a week, so there goes another submissive Saturday. Ah well, life happens. I'm sure we'll pick up where we left out when everything dies down, and even though we've been busy, I can't say I haven't been having tons of fun lately with friends and family, so that's a big plus!

When it comes to DD, I feel like we're in a serious .. lull right now. Part of me feels like I needed that, and still kind of do need it, and the other part of me really really misses it. With all the craziness, when we finally get some time alone, I just want to relax. The last thing I want to deal with is possibly being punished, or having to follow direction. Or so I think.

I think it's the last thing I want, but in reality, I need it more than ever in those times. I might push back a lot harder than usual, but I really just need him to keep at me until I get back into that submissive frame of mind. Poor guy, he sure has his work cut out for him. 

Anyway, i've missed blogging, and i've really missed reading everyones, so i'm sorry I haven't commented in a while, but after I finish this up, i'm going to go try and catch up!

1. What do you wear to bed?  Usually pajama pants and a shirt, although Colin wishes it was less. :p

3. What's your favourite thing to do on a rainy day? Go to the movies, or cuddle up in bed and watch a movie together. Maybe a scary one? Even though I always regret it after.

4. Your favourite snack food? Hm, it depends. I'm weird with snack food, i'd rather have a cup of chicken broth than candy or chips.

5. Do you cry at sad movies? Oh god yes, all the time.

6. What's your favourite implement to be spanked with? Hm, his hand

7. Is your hair long or short?  I'd go with medium.

8. What size is your bed?  Queen, we need a king though because I sleep all sorts of crazy.

9. Do you have sex with the lights on or off?  Depends. If they're off, they'll stay off, if they're on they'll usually stay on. I like the mood better when they're off though.

10. What's your favourite 'around the house' outfit?  Hmm, when I don't plan on leaving the house? A comfy tee and some juicy pants!

11. How do you drink your coffee or tea?  Coffee I drink with cream and sugar, tea it all depends, usually with a hint of agave. 

12. Are you a bargain hunter?  Not really, although I should be.

13. Do you think bald men are sexy?  It all depends on the guy and whether or not he can pull it off.

14. Are you a good driver?  I think so, but Colin would disagree most of the time.

15. In a 24 hour period, how many hours do you spend watching TV? It all depends on the night and if our shows are on or not. For example, pretty little liars is on tonight, so of course i'll be watching. :)

16. Name the last book you read? It's been way too long, i'm not even sure what the last one was. I need some new good books.

17. Would you rather be hot or cold? I don't like being too hot, or too cold, but if I had to pick .. cold. Lots of blankets and cuddling. :)

18. How many hours a day do you spend on the Internet? Too many! Especially on the days I don't work!

19. Do you like facial hair on a man?  A little bit of it, but not a lot. I like the scruffy look.

20. Are you a smoker? Nope, never have been either. I smoked a bit in high school, but it never stuck, thankfully.

Welcome to Spanko Camp 2013 & Submissive Saturday#5

I decided to switch it up a bit today, and shorten the Submissive Saturday post so I could add something else i've been working on.

Before we get to that, Colin chose to focus on spanking today. That means he can spank me whenever, however, whyever, you name it. He also decided that it's going to not only be today, but today and tomorrow. We're going to be out for about 90 percent of the day today, so I guesssss that sounds fair. Moving on. I don't know about any of you, but I attended an overnight summer camp twice when I was younger. The first time, I was too young to really enjoy it, but the second time - I had the time of my life! You create bonds with people in such a short amount of time, and it's almost like only they understand all the camp memories. From color war, to sneaking into the boys bunks, and everything in between, it was just so much fun. What would be even better than those memories? A spanko camp for adults! I mean really, how much fun would that be?!

 Unfortunately, I can't plan a real life spanko summer camp, so here is my calendar for my "Fake, but I so wish it was real...Spanko Camp 2013!!"

Spanko rhymes & a mini update

Not much to update on the DD front - but there will be soon. Not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing.

I was chatting with some DD friends, and checked the messages a few times on my cell while driving. I know, I know - not good at all. We have a rule against texting and driving, so I had a feeling this was in the same category, even though I didn't answer the messages.

I decided to be honest, and I told Colin, and just as I figured, he decided a punishment was in order. Tomorrow is my only day off from work, and i'll be spending it writing an essay and getting a spanking. On top of that, i'm not allowed to use the messaging service on my cell for a few days. :(

So yea, i'm sure i'll be writing about that once it's all said and done.

Until then, I came up with another little spanko rhyme so I thought i'd share. And i'm working on the next Dr.Seuss one, but it's a bit tricker than the last one!

So rather than Jack and Jill, here is, "Colin and Kenz." :p Just say it to the 'tune' of Jack and Jill.
